Henri Cartier Bresson has been a master for me, I learned a lot watching his pictures when I was a young photographer and until now, Street photography is a great school to learn to be quick and nearly invisible in the crowd, always like a tourist in fact ! I like when photos are telling stories, my titles are giving my version then the spectator can choose its own scenario !

Thanks a lot !

He's one of my favorites too.
Yes, he took a lot of shots,
but selected well. When I'm
carrying (a camera), I like
to be incognito. Period...
Thief and spy, '...in the house
of love.'

Yes, a great use of geometry in human reports with great composition. He finished his life making drawings, he had problems with its hands and had to stop to take photos (it's hard to understand for me but...)
And when you're painting outdoor how do you feel ?

I didn't know that about HCB. Yes,
why would one have to quit taking
photos?...seems drawing would be
a lot more difficult.
And...I almost never paint outdoors.

Photography was maybe not enough for him ! well I remember its drawings from a program I saw on T.V but it wasn't great Art. With its works I learned that there's nothing random in life. You must learn to open your eyes and to be very quick to capture some magical moments, then those moments are appearing to you, in front of you quite often !
Nice to know more about your way to create !

Hey Olivier: Sorry it's taken me so long to get back.
AND THANK YOU for the translated article. I'm afraid I
didn't get a whole lot of knowhow on how OSystems work,
all of which does not surprise me, but THAT IS SO NICE
of YOU to GO TO THE TROUBLE. My son is quite a guru on
MICROSOFT, and he can sometime push the right buttons
on my Mac, but he's quite in the dark with Macs ,like...me.
I may give Best Buy a call and see what versions of
PS they (may) have in stock. I can buy on an 18-month
interest free purchase. PS ain't cheap.
But I'm working on it. It's so nice to hear from you.
I've been blasted with email from Deviants and much
to answer. I don't like to remain distant from all
the people I've gotten to know on dA. It's an amazing
place to be...although a daunting website.
Regards and THANKS again...I'll do my best with your info.
