Beautiful piece of art showing the Greek Goddess Eris with her apple of discord, or it could be Hera with her apple of virginity and maternity or it could be Aphrodite with her apple of the Trojan war which is the apple of discord. So many appearances of the yonic symbol. But A lovely photograph of a classic sculpture.

It's unbelievable that this was made 2000 year ago... such sublime beauty, such artistry... the hand holding the apple is astonishing, almost anticipating (?) the Jewish/Christian concept of Even in the Garden of Eden

The smile in shadow only adds to the goddess aspect :-) Just wonderful :deviation:
