A beguiling darkness.

I like to work on very dark pictures like this one mixing abstract & surrealistic techniques. This kind of work is a way for my mind to escape & to travel into space & time, like a way to put my head upside down in the dark and to run (or something like that) ;-)

Heh; yes, I understand. I've worked with very dark compositions before and there's something satisfying about having a successful outcome with one. There are a few artists on the site who specialise in particularly dark compositions, and I am always intrigued by their work.

It's very interesting to work on so dark pictures. To explore light, contrasts & toning up to the moment when the image is becoming impossible to read anymore. I like to find this visual limit (frontier) between visible & black night !

I wish you luck with your future experiments in frontier processing.
