At first I thought the sky was a wall. And I'm still keeping to that but.. that doesn't matter, really moddy and nice and lovely picture! :+fav:

Because this work is also psychological...a way for the creator and the spectator to understand him/herself a little bit more ! this wall could speak about your imagination or your spirituality !

Merci beaucoup mon ami ! j'aime ta façon de t'exprimer dans un Français très poétique !
Où as tu appris le Français ?

Des vers luisants c'est tout à fait ça ! :-)

Sort've wish you had cropped the top off.
Suppose it adds character to the photo.

I love everything about it nonetheless though.

I respect your opinion but I don't agree. This framing with this huge sky give another meaning, the main subject is here maybe more the sky the sad melancholic mood and something spiritual. I imagine I can read an invisible text in this empty sky.

Thanks a lot for your comment and opinion...

I thought about it when I finished the picture ! more probably more because we must have the same kind of visual references...fairy tales, legend and old European silent movies, Fritz Lang for example...

I like pictures with a meaning and expressing a philosophy...this image talk about being poor and alone for Christmas eve. For these people Christmas is frightening and a synonymous of shame in a very rich society...

Thanks ! :-)

I love trees...I think they have a soul, a collective one.
Even the Champs Elysées are sad after Christmas...

I believe in this...it's strange to say but I can feel the trees like i do with humans...some are friends other ones are sad and alone...this tree was young and alone born in a greenhouse...

soft kiss

I can sense melancholy here. Makes me think of all the Christmas trees put out of houses after Christams time - yellowing, sad, forlorn.
Beautiful.

Yes I like very much to see all these Christmas trees abandoned. That's really a symbol of everything I dislike with human being this way to consume nature and life...one day holly and the day after crap...
It makes me think also about a great Richard Brautigan's novel, Friends doing a photographic report about all the Christmas trees abandoned in the streets of New York in the 60's...a little sad forest in the huge town.

Thanks Joanna ! :-)
